My son cut his hand really bad a couple of yrs ago and had numbness for a good while. He cut nerves, tendons and pulleys when it happened. I know he had numbness for a long time and went thru extensive hand therapy. He was told he would lose partial use of his hand but he has regained full use but it took like a year for this to happen (to include strength). So you're gonna have to have some patience with this, what has the Dr. said? Make sure you do your PT when supposed to it is very important.
