Around a week ago I was drunk with a friend and we ended up play fighting etc and since then my hand has been very swollen and was very bruised to begin with.
The swelling seems to have gone down a bit but my hand is still very painfull. I noticed that when I straighten my hand and feel around the area I can't feel the top of my knuckle... when I straighten my hand and feel, I can feel a small piece of bone below where my knuckle should be.
Should I go to the hospital and have it x-ray'd.
Thank you.

You might have a minor boxer's fracture in there. And, being drunk, you might not have noticed right away how much it hurt. The fact that your finger is straight and you can move it is a good sign, but the fact that it's still quite painful after a full week is not.
