Question Moving sensation in shin. Anybody know what it is?

Recently I cut my shin climbing. Its getting better, but still relatively fresh. Today I have been getting this really awful sensation that starts at the top of the wound, with a light pinch, then travels down the length of the wound and stops at the end. Initially I thought it was a drop of blood forming and trickling down. This feeling happens every 2-3 minutes. The feeling is best described as a slow moving tingling sensation. The part that is confusing me is the fact that it travels the same path every time.
If anyone knows what this is, I would really appreciate it!
