Hi.
You should really ask your doctor if there is bacteria in your urine or not. Then you can at least pin down if you have an actual infection. I had bladder infections for years and now have IC (Interstitial Cystitis). Before IC, I did find it better not to drink acid foods, like juice and to stay away from sugar. By the way, Cranberry juice from the grocery is about 1000% sugar and a waste of time. If you're going to try Cranberry at least get it from the health food store or try cherry juice. Neither ever helped me though. What did help was making sure everything that touched me was really clean, specially during sex. I think I was really getting them from sex. I was always really careful of everything else. If bacteria is getting into your bladder it's coming from somewhere. I'm sure you've heard all the stuff about pantyhose, cotton underwear, etc., I would try, however, to make sure whatever is going to be in that area be exceptionally exceptionally clean.
