Bladder infection?? - Cancer: Bladder Message Board

Hi! This is my 2nd day w/a heavy, sore feeling in my uterus. I've had 1 bladder infection before (a year ago), and my main symtpm was an achy feeling in my abdomen...I can't remember if this is the same feeling or not. It does get uncomfortable near the end while I'm urinating. I have a 10am doc appt. tomorrow, but until then, can anyone tell me what to expect??

Usually you will feel tenderness in the stomach. As well as the feeling you need to pee all the time. And a burning when you do pee , and very little urine. Usually they will just perscribe antibotics to clear it up. If you are on Birth Control use a back up for atleast a month. Penicillin or anything in that family decreases the effectiveness of the pill. I have had my share of bladder infections , they can be painful if left unchecked for to long!!!! Good Luck!!!

ok, so my doc just perscribed me Cipro, since my symptoms were identical to my last bladder infection. I have a very full, uncomfortable feeling in my abdomen, and have a slight fever. I was on Cipro last time, and as I recall, it cleared it right up! Cross your fingers, everybody!
