Hi anyone who is female,

I went to my gynocologist about 1 mo. ago. He said that my bladder had dropped a lot more since my last exam, which was 1 yr. ago. I do leak a little and wear panty liners for protection. I am 55 years old.

I told him that I was not quite ready for a hysterectomy, because I thought that was the way they were fixed. He said that there were other ways to fix a dropping bladder and incontinence. Do any of yall know the different ways that this problem can be fixed? Are they all operations? I do have a heavy sensation, like everything is getting heaver and lower!

Please reply with any stories or answers. I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me. I will call my dr/gyno. after Thanksgiving, but would like to have a few answers sooner.

My mother had the surgury at around age 65. It was 90% effective. I beleive it involved some kind of lifting or repositioning. She was pretty happy with the results.

Hiya,,i have the same problem,,im 46. I dont have Incontinence(sp) YET,,dr. assumed that was yet to come.

I am not happy. But i SURE DONT plan on a hysterectomy. good luck to you.

I am just starting to check around on the internet. I cannot do anything about it til 2006, because of insurance deductible!!! I am nott fully incontinent, just a little, only wear a panty liner and not all the time!

If anyone else, know any procedures or operations or whatever that can fix dropping bladders, easily, let me know. I really appreciate all yalls help.
