feeling of full bladder after urination

for a good few months now, probably even a year i have had this problem.

i go to the toilet, and i still feel like i need to go. there are no other symptoms.

its really starting to get me down now. sometimes i just sit on the loo for ages, because i still feel like i have to go.

any ideas?

yup, i know what ya got and how that feels!! well theres good and bad news if its what i think. I have a feeling you have interstital cystits, which basically means the inside of your bladder lining is not thick like it is suppose to be, and it causes a smaller bladder. also causes you to feel like you have to constantly pee and not beable to , or go only a little at a time and still feel like you have to go but nothing comes out. sometimes there is pain. alot of dr's misdiagnos this for frequent uti's. there are some medications and surgeries that can be done, me i have tried everything! so things work better for other . I had no luck until i found a dr who does instrem therapy and it is like a miracle. seriously. anyway if you want i would be happy to talk more with u. good luck

Re: feeling of full bladder after urination

This is not necessarily IC. It could also be muscular dysfunction/trigger points. This is fixable and just requires some physical therapy. Check out "A headache in the Pelvis" by Dr. Anderson.
