bladder lift surgery recouperation

My 80 year old mother just had the bladder lift surgery on Jan 16. She
is under the impression that this was an immediate fix to her incontinence problem and she would no longer have to wear Depends or have any further problems from now on. She was told that there is an 80% success rate and she feels confident she is in that class. Does a
successful surgery mean no more diapers or just a slight improvement in
her everyday urinary habits? What time frame is involved in deciding if
the surgery did improve her problem?
