bladder pain

hello, i have been having constant pain in my bladder area for 3 months now and also urinate more frequently than normal. so far i have done an std test and urine culture which both came back normal, so my doctor ruled out a UTI. but i have had 3 urinalysis so far that have all said i have abnormal amounts of protein in my urine. i am scheduled to see a urologist, but the earliest appointment available is a month away. should i be worried that this is something serious? i don't know if i can wait that long!

Hi Sazzle,
I wouldn't wait that long to see a urologist. Have you thought about going to ER or an Urgent Care? I also have pain in my bladder with frequent urination. This has been going on with me for 6 months for me now. My doc suspects IC or Interstitial Cystitis. The pain is very achey and nagging. I take meds to cut down on urination and pain meds mainly at night. I hope you feel better soon!

Best Wishes,
Aleet
