inflammed bladder...... a little long

about 2 years ago i would go to the bathroom and i felt like my bladder was empty and nothing else would come out but i felt like a had to go still. so i go to the uroligist for a while and he gives me all kinds of different pills (sanctura is the only one i can think of right now). i get an ultrasound done and that comes back fine. i get a prostate exam (how fun) and thats fine. then i go in for surgery so they can fill me up with some sort of dye and find the problem. this is when i'm diagnosed with an inflammed bladder. apparently theres no cure for this right now and the solution then was to fill my bladder all the way up to stretch it and the doc. told me that if the symptoms came back that they could put pins in my bladder to keep it open. so now im to the point where my symptoms are coming back and i was wondering if anyone has had this pin surgery done or if they have had any luck with any kind of medicine. any advice would help and thanks in advance.

Did your doc tell you that you have IC (Interstitial Cystitis)? If that's what you have, I have it also. There is treatment for it but apparently no cure at the moment. I never heard of a treatment where they put pins in. Would the pin be to keep the ureter open? He must've dilated your ureter during your cystoscopy/hidrodistention. Anyway, I hope you get better soon!
