is their pain when a utera/bladder stent is removed

Had my ureter nicked during my hysterectomy. urologist was called in to fix the damage. He placed in a stent. It is painful at times. Urologist said no local pain med or anything, ( but there would be if I was a man). After the 3 surgeries in 7 days, i'm very sensitive in the stomach to groin. My pain tolerance is bout zero now. Anything
anyone can tell me bout the removal procedure, i'd appreciate it.
