Bladder/UTI infection?

I am a overall healthy male at 32 years old. I work out daily and feel healthy other than my persistent symptoms:

Since September I've had lower abdominal discomfort with occasional gas. The discomfort is nothing disabling and when occupied I usually don't notice it. It is most prevelant in the early morning when i wake up. I did have a go around with C-Diff this past summer (July) which I appear to have beaten with antibiotics. My GP thinks the stomach discomfort is the after effects of CDiff, or an inflamed colon. I did have colonoscopy done in July that showed an overall healthy colon.

During the past weeks associated with my abdominal discomfort, I now have somewhat cloudy urine at times. Sometimes the urine looks normal, and others it is somewhat cloudy. In the last couple days I urinate more frequently and what I consider small amounts of urine. During the evening last night I had to get up 3 times.

I will be visiting my GP this week to see what he thinks. Anybody with similar story or thoughts?

Re: Bladder/UTI infection?

I can tell you that if your urine is cloudy and/or smells like sulfur you prolly have a UTI.

Re: Bladder/UTI infection?

Saw the GP this week with following results:
-prostate exam normal
-normal urine test, no bacteria, blood, and good protein levels.
-Tcell levels were also normal.

The Dr said we should watch it for a few days, and if gets worse or no change we can maybe try cipro for prostatitis.

Anybody have thoughts? No bacteria or elevated T-cell count and he still thinks maybe prostatitis.
