| Polyps in IC bladder
Cysto revealed multiple polyps and very inflamed bladder walls. Uro says it's IC. No know cure, no known cause. Urine dipsticks at home reveal trace WBCs, no nitrites, trace protein. Never a fever, just feel chills once in a while. Never a positive culture. blood tests revealed normal hormone levels, and no signs of infection. Did any of you with IC, have the similar signs, esp the no fever, no wbcs, and no nitrites?
Started on long term amoxicillin a week ago, based on endless hrs of reading forums and what works. (look into enterococcus) Persuaded uro to prescribe it, got enough for four months. Also started on chinese herbs. My symptoms are about 80% gone after only a week.
Any of you had your bladder polyps looked into further? Do you know something about polyps that most people don't know about, or uros won't tell? Do they go away on their own? What kind of bacteria could cause this? or what other causes are there?
Did you cure/heal your IC with long term antibiotics? this subject is extremely controversial in many IC forums. it's very retarded, and sad, because it's one of very few treatments that has actually permanently worked for some people afflicted with this condition.
