I don't know if it is normal or not, because I never had an ablation. I would think it would be within the realm of possibilities, though. Anything that is done in the pelvis like this causes swelling of surrounding tissue while the body is trying to heal from the trauma. The swelling and put pressure on other organs. So I would think it is at least somewhat normal.

To be sure, I'd suggest you call your doctor's office and ask them. It might be the beginnings of a bladder infection. Best to get that checked out.

hi its now nearly 3 weeks since ema,back with consultant last thurs,seems i have a bad infection put on yet more antibiotics for a month,so guess ye were right thanks for the advice,god i hope its worth it,pain in back is bad and god pressure pain worse than giving birth:

just wondering how you fared with your ablation. I had Novasure Ablation a year ago, and have bled for 10 months straight. My doc is now suggesting a hysterectomy. Im a nervous wreck! I hope things worked out for you....
