Re: TVT Bladder sling surgery Question

I just had the same surgery 1 week ago. I also had a rectocele, cystocele, and the TVT. I have been sitting alot, trying to recover. So far, I have been able to pee. You should call your doctor and ask. Is there damage to the uretha from the catheter at surgery?
Good luck!

I have the exact problem. My surgery was August 11, make a long story short, I will be having surgery on my uretha in two weeks, seems that my uretha is in a up right position. My Gyno said that during the TVT surgery imy uretha looked perfect, and therefore she did not have to support it, but now back into the Surgery room I go. If this fixes the problem I won't have to wear maxi pads every day, which I am so tired of.
