| TURP in Ontario
I am a 50-yr old fit and active man and just had a TURP performed a week ago, July 20 2011, in Barrie Ontario at Royal Victoria Hospital. I would be very interested to correspond with any other men who have had this surgery recently in Ontario who may wish to compare notes about their recovery progress. Given that I'm just one week into it, I am very hopeful that certain symptoms I'm now experiencing regarding urinary control, tenderness and frequent urination will be temporary and “normal”. I am also very hopeful that within a few months I will have a greatly improved situation as compared to pre-surgery. Would anyone care to provide advice based on your personal experiences recovering from a TURP? Thank you.
