| Re: carcinoma in situ-Bladder
Well, the first thing I'd want is a diagnosis I could understand. I went to business school, not medical school.
I had stage 1 bladder cancer that they removed by surgery. Then I did 6 weeks of BCG, with one injection per week. It was pretty easy. I only had one scare. After I voided the third injection I passed about half-a-liter of blood. I'm on Coumadin, so this was a major scare, but it thinned out and wasn't a problem the next day.
My only advice would be to get a doctor you can really trust and have a good rapport with and make sure you ask enough questions that you are comforatble with the procedure.
If you have any problems, let them know.
Good luck,
Mike
