Bladder cancer recovery-weight loss
 

I had TURP surgery performed on Oct. 5, 2011 for bladder cancer. Durng recovery, I lost 10 pounds (from 175 to 165 lbs), came down with gout, been on prednisone for the gout for a short while, and am now on Allopurinol (100mgs twice a day). My gout is under control, but today I noticed that I continued to lose another 2 lbs. and feel pretty weak. My appetite is good. Anybody have any idea why I continue to lose weight? Can the Allopurinol be the cause of my weight loss?
