I'm coming up on my one year anniversary since my first chordoma brain surgery and I finished my radiation last summer. They say because of the radiation I have an 85% chance of being tumor free for 10 years I just want to know if anyone else who has this can tell me how it's affected them over the years. I know this is a really rare cancer but I thought I would put it out there to see if anyone has anything to say. Thanks.
Hi Brogan - I'm so sorry about your diagnosis, and glad the treatment is behind you. My daughter now 20, was diagnosed in 2013, had surgery and proton beam therapy (radiation) in 2014. I'm happy to share my observations and experiences.
