My son is really nervous about his legs

He has slight knee pain especially when using the stairs. Since June of this year he also had some slight reddish dark spots on the left part of his left leg.

Recently he complained about a mild to strong pain in his left lower leg. The bone is what hurts...he checked online and he found out it can be multiple stuff

He is really concerned over his leg that it might be cancer in the bone..?

Can it really be cancer?

hi gomezsal, how old is your son? I would get it checked it out soon. It may be nothing but better to be safe than sorry.
My brother was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in his arm a few years ago when he was about 20 years old. He is now 23. Pain and swelling is a symptom, only he found out after actually breaking his arm carrying a pc monitor. The tumor had grown and made the bone break. Anyway he had an xray and found an unusual spot which they couldn't make out what it was. They sent it to Birmingham (UK) where the bone specialists are and told us it was bone cancer. He had the whole bone removed and replaced with a titanium rod, had chemotherapy and radiotherapy and had regular checkups only to find secondary in his lung. Had that removed and more chemo and radio. Now it's back in his spine and rib and another in the same arm he had it before. They are in talks what to do (radiotherapy etc), but at least they caught it early enough to get it all treated. Sorry if I scared you, but he does need it checked out just in case.
