| swollen palpable painless lymph node right collarbone cause?
I have not got a response. Maybe supraclavicula painless swollen lymph node is uncommon. The literature suggests that is a significant location (right collar bone) than some. Maybe some have it and haven't noticed...and maybe that does not matter. In case it does, maybe you want to check YOUR right collar bone lymph node. If it is swollen & you have or have not checked with your doctor, please reply. Thanks.
I thought my GP (great attentive professional) was a overly optimistic about my swollen lymph node...about 1 cm wide and three inches long. He order blood work and CT scan and reported "good news"--no cancer. It was just a phone call and I did not ask if only a biopsy would be 100% definitive. Did I read it was more likely to be cancer at the site if it were hard? Being rubbery was it more likely to be cancer in the lungs or other location that I read drains through the right collar bone lymph node? I saw temporary infection can be a cause. I took some Penicillin that I took for a couple days until Dr. told me to discontinue. I read swollen lymph nodes can be caused by things other than cancer and infection, but I did not read what they were and how long they can be expected to cause the swelling.
I suppose this site is visited by people who have questions ...or have had questions that were answered about long term conditions--not temporary benign ones. Maybe not. Maybe someone have had similiar introduction to lymph problems that has someone insight about what might happen down the road. I have an appointment with my doctor in a couple months and may receive all the information and treatment that I need. I guess I am not looking for reassurance...but that the confidence I currently feel is not whistling in the dark.
