Spots on bones, all left side of the body?

My Mother is a breast cancer survivor - after mastectomy - 3 years now.

She (slightly) rolled her left ankle few weeks ago, ER xrayed, said to treat as a sprain. However, two spots showed up on the xray - one on tibia, one on ankle - unknown, referred to other doctors for diagnosis.

Had several nuclear tests, Pet scan, CT, and MRI, no cancer present! But did find two more spots - one near the left elbow and one near the left shoulder. Now being referred to a bone specialist... next week.

In the meantime, I'm seeking possible diagnosis' - my thoughts so far:

Simple Bone Cyst
Paget's Disease
Fibrous Dysplasia

Any thoughts are welcome - waiting another week for a diagnosis is really wearing on me. Thanks for your time and comments!

Re: Spots on bones, all left side of the body?

went to have surgery on left shoulder for bone spur..

found tumors in left humerus and humeral head..
all the locals thought the worst, and I did also.

sent reports to Shands...
albeit, I had to wait along time...the anxiety nearly did me in.

the return report though was Fibrous dysplasia...very painful on cold days, but thank God not malignant..

worth the wait.. get a 2nd opinion from a specialist
