| Very frightened
I need some guidance and help: i am 70 years old and have had some rectal bleeding for year and a half. I have been afraid of a colonoscopy for various reasons so i didn't do it. the blood was off and on and sometimes went away for 3-4 months so i really thought it was a hemorrhoid. In the last two days i am having low abdominal pain with bowel movements ( i have to use a laxative to poop). the pain is sharp and terrible. I am going to see a GI doc tomorrow. I am scared it is cancer; is there anything else it can be?
