Over the last 10 months I have lost two stone and around 3 months ago I went to the doctor at A & E after seeing blood on toilet paper and had abdomen pain on the left side. The doctor I saw was so mean and told me nothing was wrong with me, insinuating I was wasting their time.
This week, I all of a sudden started to experience some pain when I was going to the loo. It's been there since Monday, there seems to be some constriction when I'm passing stools, it's so painful. When I was showering today, I decided to feel what was going on there and it is constricted indeed because there seems to be a growth.
I'm really worried. I'm a 26 year old female. Could it just be haemorrhoids?

I really think you both have hemrhoids...but see a Dr.
I don't think you would feel "cancer"....the growths in the colon with colon cancer are usually way up in the colon and you can't feel them. I know alot of people that bleed out in the toilet and they are found to have hemmhorids..(however you spell it)....
You both need to go to a doctor, I would agree with Missy that you probably couldn't feel a growth unless the tumor involved the rectum. I don't want to scare you anymore than you are but if the doctor says it's hemorrhoids and it continues be persistent with the doctor and have him refer you to a Gastrologist just to be safe. I know a lot of people that were told it was hemorrhoids and after months found out it wasn't....Good luck
so, i have great news! whatever the growth was (most likely a hemorrhoid)but its gone and i can now use the bathroom pain and blood free. i used preparation H or something like that, it worked very quicky.

i might sound like an idiot but what kinds of food has fiber? like what should my diet consist of ?
Green leafy vegetables, beans, whole grains, blueberries, pomegranates, apples, oranges, etc. You can read the labels on breads and see what their fiber contents are. There are fiber one granola bars and cereals but I think those products cause more gas than anything.
