Hi, I'm an 18 year old and I have had what i think are piles for a few month now.
I left them in the hope that they would go away with a healthy diet and exercise.
When i realised that they weren't going anywhere i used preparation H 2-4 times a day for almost a week but they didn't seem to shrink.
I don't think there's been any blood but i'm having smaller and more frequent bowel movements, they're often quite skinny, and i sometimes feel like i haven't fully emptied my bowels. A while back a friend mention seeing yellow patches in my eyes, but if they were there they aren't any more. I also get waves of nausea, if i stand up to fast i get incredibly light headed, i can get tired even on 8 hours of sleep a night and I sometimes get lower abdominal pains if i strain in the slightest.
I would usually get checked out immediately but in 10 days i'm going travelling for 6 weeks and I don't want my trip to have to be delayed if something is wrong as it would cost a lot of money.
So my question is, what's the chances of this being anything serious, and would it be safe to put this off for 7+ weeks if I get it checked out as soon as I'm back from my travels?
The symptoms aren't giving me any real discomfort, i'm just getting stressed at the thought of it being something bad, so i'm wondering if my tiredness and nausea is actually due to the stress of worrying about this and my trip.
Thanks for reading, sorry if it jumbled.
