| Pathology results
Just got back from the surgeon's office. I have a copy of my pathology report. It showed no lymph nodes out of 22 checked had cancer in them.(outside bowel wall) It's not in my vascular system either but the pathologist can't tell whether there are cancer cells inside the lymph nodes within the bowel wall. Because of that he referred me to a medical oncologist at the hospital that I will see within a week. The surgeon doesn't think I will need chemo but he can't be sure. I will discuss it with my medical oncologist. I know it's good news just that uncertainty bothers me.
