question about warts - Cancer: Breast Message Board

I just found out that someone I'm seriously dating has genital warts. Can it be spread to me if I touch his penis with my hand? I do not plan to have oral, anal, or vaginal sex... but what if his penis so much as touches me on any part of my body? He does not currently have any outbreaks (that he is aware of, at least). any help would be appreciated!!

I believe it can be transmitted to you. HPV is transmitted through skin-to-skin contact, not through bodily fluids as are many other std's.
