Hi Everyone
My sister found a lump about 2cm in side three days ago and today was told it is cancer. They told her she could have the lump removed and go through radiation treatment.OR
have the breast removed!!! I cannot imagine what she is going through. I had skin cancer and that was very trying, they caught it early and I did not have to go through treatment because they had removed it all.

What are some of the things she should look at to decide what to do. I told her I would go to this site and see if anyone could make some suggestions on what questions to ask the doctors!!!! before she makes a decision. I notice some people knew so many details about the stage it is at. Did you ask the doctor or he told you this info.
They never mentioned anything about chemo?? Would she have to go through that as well, as I have seen that other people with breast cancer had chemo. Would it be the type of cancer??
I want to be able to help her in some way and feel so lost. I know she has to decide quickly.
There are seven girls in our family and she is the fourth to find a lump, however the other three did not have cancer. So I was really thinking hers would be the same result, but I was wrong and would like any opinions as to how I may help her.
What kind of out look is there?? What kind of odds that if only the lump is removed it won't return.
I have so many questions myself about this.

Iam so scared to talk with her because I don't want to say the wrong things!!!Because I don't know much about it.I want to be there for her, I can't believe Iam feeling this way.We are very close, so I can't understand why I would be scared, she is my sister. How can I deal with myself, so I can help her and not be so afraid to talk with her??
