breast tenderness - Cancer: Breast Message Board

i'm 31 years old and always have moderate to severe breast tenderness from ovulation for 12 days ,tenderness subside just before peroid ,i am worried if this considered a risk factor for breast cancer? because most of the women have the breast tenderness for 2 -4days mine for 12 days

I have breast tenderness as well and not just around ovulation. As long as you do a self exam for lumps or have your doctor do one and you dont find anything then you are fine. I dont think breast tenderness alone is anything to worry about. And if it comes and goes it is usually hormonal.
