Helping my friend
Hi,
My name is Carolee. I have a very good friend who survived Stage 4 Breast Cancer. She is such an inspiration to all the lives she touches. I would like to help her. She is an artist an illustrator and has written and illustrated an "Awesome" book on her experience. She also has so many other paintings/cards/kids material etc... Believe me I could go on. I have been trying to help motivate her to do some research about getting her own "Website" to get her work out there to so many who need her story of hope and also to help her publish her book! She is not big on "selling" herself but I have so much faith in her and she gets such a great response to her work.
So, my question? Does anyone know how I would go about finding someone to help her design her website? I know she wants a % of her book especially to be donated for Breast Cancer research & awareness. Her funds are limited but I truly feel that she just needs someone to help her get started and I just don't know how else to help her. I know she can get her book and illustrations published, it's just a matter of talking to the right people. A little of my story as of late and why I feel even more compelled to do something on her behalf. My husband has suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury 6 months ago and our lives are "Forever" changed. My best source of help has been to go to the "Message Boards" for Traumatic Brain Injuries and I think Babs, my friend, may be surprised as to the help she can receive through people who have been touched by her experience as well. I am going to Washington DC to fight for funding for TBI's and I wouldn't be surprised to see Babs there on behalf of Breast Cancer as well. If anyone has any thoughts or advice I would so appreciate you emailing me at [removed].com. Thank you so much in advance and know my prayers are with all of you suffering and surviving Breast Cancer. Thank-you. Carolee
