I, too, have a terrible fear of breast cancer, especially since an in-law of mine only has one year to live because of it. 18 years of mammograms didn't see it. She found a lump 3 months after her last mammogram, and now she's dying. I don't see what is wrong with having your breasts removed after the age of 55. They are only milk glands. It's not like they are needed. Just the opposite: no more mammograms, biopsies, panic attacks about lumps, and ESPECIALLY, NO MORE F E A R !!! I'm not too worried about uterine or ovary cancer, because it is much more rare, and the tests of finding uterine cancer early are excellent. What do you think about what I just said??? Am I wrong to want to live flat-chested but with no fear??
