Maria, are you sure that these are cancerous tumors? If they were cancer I am sure that chemo would be suggested or even a biopsy of the tumor. is this an oncoligist giving this advice or a regular md? we are all on arimidex and i had my ovaries removed cause i was gettign periods i had 2 nodes on lungs but they were not cancer. how does the doctor know they are cancer? can you go to a big city hospital with all of your records? i am not sure if this is you with the cancer or a friend but i would go to another doctor right away for another opinion. during my chemo there were 2 ladies who came in for chemo whose breast cancer had spread to the lung. this is not a death sentence anymore. plz , plz get 2nd opinion. shelley
