Im scared..anyone got any ideas..? - Cancer: Breast Message Board

Hi I've never posted on this board but was wondering if anyone had any ideas... I was taking a bath one day, probably about 3 months ago and notice that my left breast look larger then my right. After getting out of the tub I asked my boyfriend what he thought and he told me they looked the same too him to stop acting crazy. I kinda just forgot about it until last night, my sister and I was getting dressed to go out for a few drinks and she noticed right away when i was changing my shirt. I never mentioned it too her she just saw right away. SO.....NOW IM FREAKING OUT....They were never different sizes when I was younger or anything so this is something kinda new. I dont ever give my self breast exams, I'm not really sure how. I did though feel around on them to sheck for lumps. I see a doctor every year for check up's so my last breast exam was probably about 9 months ago. Im making an appt. as soon as my doctors office open....IT JUST SEEMS SO FAR AWAY!!!!!! I have never had anyone in my family with breast cancer so I'm hoping for the best. Anyone know the signs of it or have any ideas....???????????

Every girls breast is slightly differ size than the other....that is not a sign that you should be freaking out about..but its good to go get checked out just to be sure.

I just happened to get on here as my mom just called to tell me she had an abnormal mamogram..and it's on my mind.. so its not that I am an expert about breast cancer...or have it or anything

I just know that I am 22 years old, 5"8 120 pounds B cup breasts and my right breast is slighlty larger than the left..my husband makes fun of me cause he can't really tell..but I can..and I have heard that is normal..my girlfriends are the same... goodluck--Charly

me too. one larger than other. doc said that occurs often. no freaking out allowed.

Thanks for all the reply's. I think the reason I was so freaked out was because it they have always been the same size, then all of a sudden they are different. I made an appt. tho for the 4th of Jan just for a breast exam, I just hope everything turns out GOOD!!!
