Lump - Cancer: Breast Message Board

Hi, I am new to this site, but was hoping someone could help me. I have had a lump now on my areola (right next to my nipple) for a few months. I know I need to get it checked out, but it is kind of embarrassing. My boyfriend and I have both looked at it and honestly thought it was a zit or a really clogged pore. When we pop it, it practically disappears and is just a red spot, but it keeps coming back. Is this something to be worried about? PLease advise! It has really started to freak me out! Oh and do I just go to my regular doctor?!

The first thing I've done was to see my Family Doctor. You doctor will look at it then probably send it to a reveral. I went as soon as I did. I found a lump under my nipple. Now i'm waiting to see another doctor but my family doctor thinks it's nothing but it's better to see.

Whatever it is/or is not, you will sleep better.

Trust me.
