| Breast Pap Smear
I had a breast pap smear three weeks ago. It's called HALO. It entails having your breast pumped for about 5 minutes to extract dischage from the nipple. The discharge is then examined to see if there is any cancerous cells it. Most breast cancers begin in the nipple.
My results were normal, but this definitely gives me great peace of mind since I do have a family history.
Just wanted to share with any of you who are worried. I highly recommend do this if available in your area. It was a little bit uncomfortable, but overall not too bad.
