| Re: Chemo with Taxotere and Cytoxan
Hi SBEACH, sorry about your cancer diagnosi..I know how very scary this all is for you..I was diagnosed 4yrs ago..I had stage 2B cancer with a positve node..I chose to have a mast..followed by 6mths..8rounds of chemotherapy.
I had ACT, which is adriamycin, cytoxin and taxotere..I did well during chemo, no sickness, only nauseaousness, fatigue, leg pain and some mouth sores..all of these side effects were treated with diffferent meds..and I did just fine!!
I have been NED, no evidence of disease since my original diagnosis. It will be 5yrs in January!!
Your fears are real fears, and many of us have felt the same at some point during our breast cancer journey..only you can decide what is right for you..You will have to live with the decisions you make..as for me, I know in my heart, I did what was right for me..
I wish you well, Sbeaches..
come back, and keep posting, let us know how youre doing..okay?
hugs,
cj.
