What If she doesn't Remove it? - Cancer: Breast Message Board

Hi All
Ok..Well my Mom was diagnosed wityh Breast Cancer in October.
She is a health nut and won't have Chemo or have it removed.
She's trying all sorts of Nautural ways to cure it..but I'm so scared it's not goning to work...and there is nothing anyone can do to convince her otherwise

Just Here for some support..I'm scared for her!

What do the doctor's say? You can't really force her into treatment. I am kind of a health nut too, but with breast cancer (dxed in May 06), I didn't want to mess around. I looked at risk/benefit of the treatment offered and wanted to do as much as I though reasonable for my stage/grade of cancer-
(stage 1/grade 2).

At the very least, I would hope she might reconsider some type of surgery, to remove the cancerous area. Having said that, it is all a personal decision as to what SHE want's to do.
