HELP!! Is this the beginning on an inverted nipple??? - Cancer: Breast Message Board

I have just recently noticed a change to my left nipple. When I change from work clothes and take off my bra the middle of my nipple is slightly indented while the rest of the nipple is normal (not indented).
Once I take my bra off, it "pops" back to normal (for lack of a better word) so I only notice this when I just take off my bra.
I am 46 yrs old and do have a gyn appt next week so will discuss w/ dr and go my yearly mammogram.
Has anyone experienced this?

I could have written this{as a matter of fact I was coming on to do so} mine is the left as well. Coincedence{sp} or what? I do have a calcification in my left breast and I am due for a mammogram in July.My mother's sister had both breasts removed due to breast cancer but she is doing well. No other family member has breast cancer on my mother's side , a few on my father's side have passed away from breast cancer and other cancers.
