Has anyone had an MRI of the breast? Can you tell me about the procedure? How long did you wait for results?

Yes I Did, You Have To Lay On Your Stomach With Your Breasts Through An Open Hole. They Inject You With Dye Half Way Through It. You Have To Lie Very Still. I Believe It Took About 45 Min....i Think. It Took About 4 Days For Results. I Am Trying To Remember. It Was Not Bad At All, Just Cant Move And It Is Loud. Good Luck,

Hi Susan,

I had an MRI as well. JoJo's explanation is pretty close to what I experienced. I would recommend going to the appointment kind of sleepy. You do need to stay still and that helps. I was able to listen to music through headphones they provided. That helped. Meditation helps as well. It's the best test out there to see what is really going on.
