Ann,
My heart goes out to you and I wish there was something I could do for you to make you feel better. I CAN say that I'm here for you anytime you need to talk.
I may not have answers for you but I have a shoulder for you to lean on if you ever should need one.
My sister has gone through what you're going through. Plus my other sister had the pre-cancerous cells and was put on tamoxafin for five years to try and erradicate it. it worked.
my other sister had calcifications that were cancer so couldnt' have a lumpectomy to remove it, so had to have both breasts removed.
she was only in the hospital for TWO DAYS. That's how much things have changed and how advanced they are now.
they sent her home with a drainage under her arm or breast and had to perform arm exercises.
so far so good, it's now many years later and she's feeling great.
I just wanted to let you know this.
right now you need to be with positive people. Every day life changes. life can not remain the same ever! we are always changing. whether it be a scary road, or a quiet road. we face life challenges the best we know how.
the more you educate yourself the better too. take your time to make the decisions you will be faced with and try to keep a positive mind, even take a yoga class if you don't already. it will bring you peace of mind and body.
do something for yourself that you've been putting off, if there's something you've been wanting or wanting to do. do it!
