I am a 50 year old female and had a routine bilateral mammogram a few days ago. The findings were as follows:
New findings from prior mammograms, intramammary lymph node outer regions of the right and left breast, probable benigh. Breast Composition Category 2: There are scattered fibroglandular densities (approximately 25-50% glandular). No malignant calcifications. No suspicious mass. Computer Aided Detection was reviewed prior to reporting findings to rule out potential lesions.
Impression: BI-RADS 3. Probably benign study.
Recommendations: Follow up bilateral mammogram in six months.
Should I wait 6 months for follow-up or have the study done sooner. I'm not real comfortable with the
