61 mm asymetric and nodular density on 1st mammogram
I'm going for a second mammogram plus an ultrasound of my right breast on Tue, Jan 11, 2011. I have a 6 cm asymetric nodular density with pain. I attached pix of the mammography, pls feel free to look. Any input is appreciated! Age, all of 46 , with 4 kids under 14.

I just said a prayer for you. I hope everything turns out O.K. I am having a biopsy done tomorrow on an area of suspicion they saw on my mammogram and ultrasound. I will pray for us both. Kathy

Thank you so much for sending me good vibes - I really needed them! I had a comprehensive mammogram and an ultrasound. Turns out it's not just one but several "nodules" and they are apparently beningn. Nevertheless, I will have an MRI as well, to try to determine what it really is. By tomorrow I should know the date of the MRI, which has to be scheduled around the time of one's period, so about 10 days....

Thank you, Kathy!!! I will pray for you as well!!! I know it's hard, but try to think good thoughts and relax!!! I will know more about my second round of testing tomorrow, when I see the written report and then when I go for the MRI.....

Hey Annie. Hope all is well. I had my core biopsy done today. It wasn't too bad. I felt them pushing on me but no pain. I should find out in a couple of days. Good luck to you tomorrow. I am thinking positive thoughts for both of us. Take care. Kathy
