Im hoping maybe someone can help me out. I am 21 years old and just had my annual exam done today. During my breast exam my doctor noticed that me left breast felt more firm then my right. She said that it didnt feel like a definite lump or like the breast cancer she has diagnosed before it is just harder but she definitely wants me to have a mammogram or sonogram to have it checked out. She said it could possibly be a blocked duct or just the way my chest wall sits but she wants to be safe rather then sorry. She said not to freak out but of course I am going to. So now I am freaking out waiting for them to call me with the time for my testing. I have no family history of breast cancer but I guess its still possible. When I got to thinking about it, she said it could just be the way my chest wall is. I forgot to bring it up because I was in shock but I do have scoliosis and one side of my back is fuller then the other and my hips are also crooked so it is very possible that my ribcage and chest is crooked too. I dont think she knows about this because it was diagnosed by my pedi when I was 16. I am hoping that is all it is, but I was wondering if anyone else had been in this situation and what it ended up being for you?
