My mother is 76 and we are 1500 miles apart. She has been diagnosed and is going to have to go through soooo much. My question is what do I say to her to make her understand that she will get through this. Even though she is one of the strongest women I know, her thoughts are old and she still has the death word in her breast cancer vocabulary. I would appreciate any positive feedback, actually any and all feedback. She wants me to wait and come to be with her when she needs me most. Gee, is that after the ultrasound to see if there is more cancer under the visable found on the MRI? She had the lump removed. They removed the whole thing and biopsied it.
I have to say that this board is a true blessing. I'm grateful that it's here and has been such a great learning tool for me. Thanks to all. Vickyg
