| breast cancer and refusing treatment
My cousin who is forty four years old has recently been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, stage three, grade three. She has decided to refuse all medical advice, including treatments, surgeries, or any further testing. She is currently at the Hippocrates Health Institute in Florida where she is learning how to live a holistic lifestyle. After attending this center she is convinced that her tumor has shrank, simply by feeling it. She is now become a raw vegan and is convinced that she will beat this disease simply by following her newly found holistic lifestyle. I am disturbed with her choice as she does have a ten year old child. As per my research very many woman die by refusing treatment. She is adament about her decision and will not hear anything of it. I almost feel like she is brainwashed. She will be coming home soon and i will definately speak to her but i am sure that what i say will not make a difference. Anybody hear of this Institute? anyone ever have a loved one refuse treatment?
