LEEP and blood clots - Cancer: Cervical & Ovarian Message Board

9 days ago I had the LEEP done for CIS III. Today I experienced heavy bleeding and I passed a clot about the size of a plum (sorry so gross). Has anyone else experienced this and if so what did your dr say? Thanks so much.

yeah i had a big lump of tissue-like thing fall right out of me while i was peeing, and it freaked me out big time. i asked my doctor and he said it was normal. and now a month later since the LEEP my period is much heavier and darker than normal, w/ some more bits of chunks as well.

I had Leep done 2.5 weeks ago and I am still bleeding. How long did it take for your bleeding to stop?

I had a leep cone done and 2 days afterwards I had major clots passing. The only thing was I kept bleeding very heavily...I had to go back into the OR and have a suture put in. I bled very heavy for eight hours before I got into the OR. How scary it was! I have not got the results of my biopsy, so I'm really nervous about the results of that. I was first diagnosed with CIN 111/ CIS. Has this kind of thing happened to any of you?

I just had a LEEP done on June 5th. I didn't have a lot of bleeding but then again I was also cauterized afterwards. SMOKIN! (done in Jim Carrey voice LOL) And the day the LEEP was done I also started my period (which is weird cause it was a week early) At least I got both done with in one shot.
