Had my LEEP done two weeks ago - Cancer: Cervical & Ovarian Message Board

Hello, I am new to this board, but I had a few questions. First of all my period is two weeks late, is this normal after a LEEP procedure? Also, what was the procedure followed to get your results after your LEEP, anyone? It has been two weeks and when my doctor finally contacted me about my results all that he said was that they need more tissue. Does this mean that they could have lost mine or something? Or do they generally just need more tissue? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

My period was on time after my LEEP but I have read other posts on here where others have had late periods after theirs. I'm not really sure what your doctor means but if I were you I would call him on Monday and find out. Good luck with everything.

Well, I found out why my period was late. Apparently I am pregnant. I just found out yesterday. I go to the doc on monday because I had to have been pregnant at the time of my surgery though not far enough along for it to show up when they ran the pregnancy test. I am worried though, because of that surgery. But, everything seems to be going well so far. Thank you for your reply though.
