Lazer surgery after bad colcoscopy

I'm just curious if there are any women out there that have gone through lazer surgery on their cervix to treat abnormal cells (CIN 2 and one spot CIN3) I go for my surgery on Nov. 28th and am a bit nervous as to what to expect afterward (recovery)
I was also wondering if any of those women who went through the same procedure had any problems with concieving and carriying a baby (post surgery) I am scared that this might affect my fertility, or at the very least cause my cervix to be "incompetent"
Any insite, help or information would be greatly appreciated!

Sarah

Re: Lazer surgery after bad colcoscopy

Hi. I had the laser surgery at the end of April and the scariest part was knowing I had to be put under. The pain after was nothing that Advil couldn't handle. I took 1 day off work. The most annoying part was the antibiotic cream you have to use. Thats only for 3 days. The bleeding did last about 1 month but by about the end of the second week it was light. I had a lot of cin 3 and they told me it would not affect my fertility. I have to go for paps every 90 days for the next year but so far my results have been perfect. This as my first surgery and it was super easy. If you have any other questions let me know.

Good Luck,
Ariel
