It's normal to worry about little details when the big picture is looming. If you have a breathing tube, trust me, you will be asleep before they put one in and you'll be awake, thinking that you haven't even gone to surgery yet, without the tube. It's amazing what a little versed and good anethesia can do! I remember after most of my surgeries being a bit mad that I still was waiting for it to be over when in fact..it was over. Just no memory of even doing it!
