| Help!
My girlfriend underwent surgery for Ovarian Cancer Thursday night. She also has Peritoniall Cancer...I believe it is a cancer inside the lining of the abdomen walls. From what I have read it does not look too good for her. Does anyone have any info. on this cancer? She had huge bloating and horrible gas pains for weeks prior to her surgery. They did a histerectomy and removed both ovaries. She had a fybroid tumor on her left ovary that became cancerous and a huge lump on the top of her abdomen. She will start chemo in 3 weeks.....and will last for 6 months. Will the chemo kill all the cancer cells in her abdomen? Her bloodwork showed no signs of cancer in her other organs nor is it in any of her lymph nodes. This cancer is scary..she was healthy a month ago except for the fybroid cyst on her left ovary which she knew about through gynecological exams last year that was being watched.
